Unifies Safaris is committed to complying with copyright laws and protecting the intellectual property rights of others. We respect the rights of copyright holders and we strive to respond quickly to any concerns or complaints related to copyright infringement on our blog.

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and you believe that any content on Unifies Safaris blog infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification of claimed infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) to our designated agent, who can be reached at unifiedsafaris@gmail.com.

To be effective, the notification must be in writing and include the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed;
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address at which the complaining party may be contacted;
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly investigate the matter and remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We will also take reasonable steps to notify the person who posted the allegedly infringing material that we have received a DMCA notice and have removed or disabled access to the material.

Counter-Notification: If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent at unifiedsafaris@gmail.com. The counter-notification must include the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled;
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the federal district courts located in California, if your address is outside of the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notification of claimed infringement or an agent of such person.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the DMCA notification. If we do not receive notice within ten business days that the original complaining party seeks an injunction to prevent further infringement, we will replace or restore access to the removed material.
